2023 Holiday Event Calendar

Friendsgiving & Thanksgiving
Gobble, gobble! You're going to be very thankful you booked this weekend for your family camping trip! Join us November 17-19 and celebrate Thanksgiving early with friends — Friendsgiving! Special activities and food specials will be available at both Camp Fimfo Waco and Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country for you to enjoy — including a Friendsgiving Potluck at TXHC and themed crafts at Waco.
Join us from November 23-27 for Thanksgiving weekend! Start a new tradition and host a Thanksgiving meal at your cabin or campsite. Make new family memories over delicious, homecooked food at the Camp Fimfo Waco Thanksgiving Potluck or while running in the Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country Turkey Trot!
Both locations will be hosting a food drive, collecting food for local food banks. Bring non-parishable food items to the Welcome Center or General Store any weekend in November.
Christmas
Spread holiday cheer from cabin to campsite every weekend in December! We kick off the Christmas season with Santa’s arrival on December 2 (and every Saturday in December) at Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country and December 9 at Camp Fimfo Waco! Each holiday weekend in December will be full of festivities like a Christmas movie night, Christmas candle making, cookie decorating, gourmet hot chocolate and s'mores bar, ornament making, gingerbread house building, sip and paint, and more! Our ugly Christmas sweater competitions are competitive, so start planning now!
New Year's
