We have lots of exciting improvements planned here at Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country! Although our camping resort is much loved by many of our returning campers, we hope these additions continue to WOW our existing campers while attracting new campers who are looking to create lasting memories! Keep reading to find out everything that's new at our top-rated Texas campground.
#1: New Cabin Types
In case you missed it, we added 125+ additional cabins last summer, featuring three new cabin types — Treetop, Coyote Bubbly (hello, hot tubs!), and Willow. This year, we’re introducing a fourth cabin type, The Cypress! These 6-person cabins with a kitchen and bathroom will soon be available to book!
#2: New Water Amenities
We have been diligently listening to guest feedback. Your recent suggestions and enthusiasm have inspired us to embark on an adventure ourselves — expanding our water amenities to create an even better experience for our guests! We’re in the early stages of planning, but we aim to unveil these additions by the end of 2024. While we’re keeping some specifics up our sleeves for now, stay tuned for more exciting details throughout 2024.
#3: The Cliff Carver
Texas’ first and only alpine coaster is open! The Cliff Carver is over 1 mile long and uses physics and gravity to propel you through the breathtaking views of Texas Hill Country while you control your own speed with individual controls. Zoom through the hills at speeds up to 25mph, or opt for a leisurely ride to take in the scenery — the choice is yours!

#4: New Themes
New year, new themes! Choose from over THIRTY themed weeks & weekends in 2024. You'll see some of the same awesome themes from 2023, like Keepin' It Reel and Shark Week, but you'll also find some new themes sprinkled throughout the year like May The Fourth and Summer Games! Every themed week or weekend will have daily activities, specialty food & drink menus and fun events. You can find the full list of themes, as well as daily activities here.
#5: New Deals
To help you get outside and book a camping getaway, we're raising savings on a few of our deals this year! #6: Willow Ridge
The newest wedding venue in Texas Hill Country, Willow Ridge at Camp Fimfo is Texas Hill Country in its finest form. Located within Camp Fimfo’s beautiful 475 acres and nestled atop a secluded plateau along and above the Guadalupe River — it’s truly the backdrop for the perfect New Braunfels wedding or event. Since its ribbon cutting in May of 2023, Willow Ridge has held 12 weddings and special events and has over 50 in the books for 2024.

#7: Additional Sports Courts & Playground
In late 2023, we added extra places to Get Outside while at Camp Fimfo in response to growing demand, including additional sports courts, a dog park and an extra playground! These additions are located in our uphill expansion of the park, near our new cabins, allowing guests in phase two to have close access to these recreational amenities.
