#1: Hilltop Hideaway
We’ve heard you loud and clear: more water fun, please! In response to your requests, we’re thrilled to announce the addition of Hilltop Hideaway. This new area will feature a second, larger resort pool, swim-up bar and spa tub designed to complement our existing water amenities.
But Hilltop Hideaway isn’t just about the pool and swim-up bar! This elevated retreat will offer breathtaking views of the beautiful Texas Hill Country, providing the perfect backdrop for relaxation or entertainment. Whether you’re soaking up the scenery from the 4-terrace pool deck or unwinding in a poolside cabana, you’ll love every moment spent here. Hilltop Hideaway will also include a fast-service restaurant and bar area, making it the ultimate spot for family gatherings, a quick bite, or a quiet moment in the sun. #2: The Guadalupe Glider
At Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country, we’re always looking for ways to make your stay unforgettable. You’ve experienced the rush of Texas’ first and only alpine coaster, The Cliff Carver, but now we’re ready to take the adventure to new heights — literally.
You’ve been patiently waiting, and we’re excited to share that the zipline project is back and better than ever! The Guadalupe Glider will feature four exhilarating lines spanning 1,540 feet in total length, reaching speeds of up to 40 mph with a thrilling 130-foot change in elevation. As you glide, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of the stunning Texas Hill Country.
But the adventure doesn’t end there — your ride concludes with a suspension bridge exit, adding an extra dash of excitement to your experience. Open to both guests and the public, the Guadalupe Glider is a must-try adventure that promises unforgettable memories. Get ready to soar when it debuts in early summer 2025!
#3: New Themes
Campers love our themed weeks, and we’re taking 2025 to a whole new level! With nearly thirty themes to choose from, there’s something for everyone. Favorites like Keepin’ It Reel and Water Wars are making a comeback, but we’re also introducing fresh themes like Off to the Races and S’more Encounters. #4: Ropes Course
In late summer 2024, we added extra places to Get Outside while at Camp Fimfo in response to growing demand, including a new Ropes Course! Perfect for all ages, head up to our hilltop area to climb, balance, and swing your way across this exciting challenge course. It’s a great way to test your skills, bond with friends, and enjoy the fresh Hill Country air.
#4: Bubble Station
For a touch of whimsy, our new bubble station is a hit with kids and adults alike. Located near the playground and river, this interactive feature adds a sprinkle of magic to your day. Watch as the bubbles float through the air, sparking laughter and imagination.
#5: Ice Cream at The Filling Station
Beat the Texas heat with a trip to our new and improved ice cream area at The Filling Station. With a variety of flavors to choose from, there’s something to satisfy every sweet tooth. Whether it’s a post-pool treat or a midday pick-me-up, you’ll find delicious options waiting for you.
#6: Bandit Coffee
Mornings at Camp Fimfo just got better! Swing by the coffee wagon near Amenities Circle for freshly brewed coffee drinks and mouthwatering pastries. It’s the perfect way to fuel up for a day full of adventure.
