SXSW Conference & Festival: March 8-16, 2024

Head to downtown Austin to experience the world-renowned SXSW Conference & Festival. Consisting of three main components — Interactive, Music and Film, each track brings top creatives and global professionals together to collaborate during this exciting 10-day event. Featured speakers are innovators and creatives at the top of their industries sharing ideas, processes, and expertise in the hopes of inspiring a better world. Expect to see names like Kun Gao, Sandy Carter, John Maeda, and more.

Rodeo Austin: March 8-23, 2024

Since 1938, Rodeo Austin has expanded from a stock show featuring 16 animals to one of Austin’s premier events with a rodeo, fair, carnival, concerts, and more. As a nonprofit, their mission is to nurture the next generation while providing gritty fun and entertainment. Capitol 10k: April 7, 2024

 Established in 1978, the Statesman Capitol 10K has grown to become the largest 10K in Texas and sixth largest in the country. Take in the views of Austin as you race to the finish line. Fredericksurg Lobster Festival: July 6, 2024

The Fredericksburg Lobster Festival features fresh Maine Lobsters deep in the Texas Hill Country. This event, taking place on Saturday, July 6, will run all day with lobsters drop shipped from Maine served with garlic butter and "fixins", alongside other menu accompaniments like hamburgers, pulled pork nachos, beer, wine and spirits. Austin City Limits: October 4-6 & 11-13, 2024

One of the biggest and best festivals to happen in the fall in Austin, Austin City Limits offers two full weekends of live music on 8 stages, featuring 100+ bands at Zilker Park. Austin locals consider this festival to be one of the best activities to do in Austin in the fall. There's plenty to do in between music sets and plenty of places to explore nearby. The 2023 lineup included 100+ performances with headliners like Kendrick Lamar, The Lumineers, Foo Fighters, The 1975, Hozier and more. Oktoberfest: October 4-6, 2024

Oktoberfest celebrates Fredericksburg's German heritage with four stages of continuous oompah music, arts, crafts, shopping, a children's area, 50 varieties of American, Texas and imported beers, Texas Wine Country selections, great food and fun all weekend long. Austin Trail of Lights: December 2024

The Austin Trail of Lights is hosted by the Trail of Lights Foundation and takes place at Zilker Park in downtown Austin. It features more than 2 million lights, 90 lighted holiday trees, and 70 other holiday displays and serves as a festive celebration of Austin during the holiday season! Perfect for the whole family, this memorable Texas Hill Country winter event is one of the most beloved and longest running holiday tradition of its kind in the Texas capital.
