For Camp Fimfo, we offer a wide variety of deals all camping season. Plus, the longer you stay, the longer you save!
Now onto when your family vacation should actually take place! Most of the time, summer months tend to be the most expensive time periods for travel. If you're looking for more affordable ways to vacation with family, we recommend looking during the spring, fall, or winter! Our most affordable time of year to stay is during our non-peak season (1/1/2025 - 3/13/2025, 3/22/2025 - 5/22/2025 & 8/10/2025 - 12/31/2025). This time period is the prime opportunity for budget-friendly vacation for families!
The Most Affordable Accommodations
Whether you're booking a hotel, Airbnb, or other accommodation type, every hospitality company has a few options that are the most affordable. With this being said, we recommend browsing every accommodation type to see what the total cost is - but, also keep in mind what your requirements are. For example, a basic hotel room with a queen bed may be the cheapest option, but if you'd be most comfortable in a suite with a separate bedroom with a pull-out couch, booking this option may be the best route to ensure the whole family is comfortable during your vacation.
Cabin Rentals
Camp Fimfo is one of the best campgrounds with cabins in Texas. Offering 16 different cabin types between our two locations, there's something for everyone! We've outlined some of the most affordable Texas cabin rentals you can choose from:
A-Frame Cabins
We offer a quaint, affordable A-frame cabin option at both of our locations — our Bosque Cabin at Camp Fimfo Waco and our Riverview Cabin at Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country. Each of these Texas glamping options come with a full bed, mini fridge, A/C & heat and a front porch, giving you all the necessities you will need during your budget-friendly family vacation!
Magnolia & Bluebonnet Cabins
Settle in to these spacious cabins (same cabin type at both locations, just different names!) with high ceilings, a beautiful front porch, and sleep accommodations for up to 8 people! Featuring a full kitchen and private bathroom, you'll feel right at home. As always, linens and kitchen basics are included! Sleep accommodations include: 1 bedroom with full size bed; 1 loft with 2 twin size mattresses; 1 bunk bed (in hallway); 1 pull out bed with full size mattress in living room.
Treetop Cabin
Enjoy stunning views of Texas Hill Country from your very own Treetop Cabin! This cozy cabin sits atop the hill and includes a front porch perfect for taking in the sites. With sleeping accommodations for 4 (Queen bunk beds), couch, and kitchenette, you'll have the perfect home base for your Texas Hill Country exploration. Outside you can enjoy your own charcoal grill, picnic table, and fire ring. Bathhouses are located nearby, and each cabin has a designated, private bathroom stall with shower. Linens and kitchen basics included!
RV Sites
Are you bringing your rig to one of our Texas RV resorts? Great choice! Now, all that you have to do is figure out which RV site type fits your RV as well as your needs. Back-in or pull-thru, gravel or paved, the options are endless!
Red Carpet Back-In or Pull-Thru (Camp Fimfo TXHC)
Each red carpet site includes full (W/E/S) hook-ups with 20/30/50 Amp electric. The concrete pad makes pulling in and setting up a breeze. Also included is a charcoal grill, fire ring and picnic table. When you're not enjoying the great outdoors, connect to complimentary wi-fi or cable!
Premium RV Site (Camp Fimfo Waco)
Set up camp at your Premium Back-In RV Site! Complete with water, electric, and sewer hook-ups (30/50 Amp), you'll have everything you need to make yourself comfortable during your stay. A picnic table, charcoal grill, and fire pit complete this pet-friendly site.
Tent Sites
There's nothing quite like sleeping under the stars, but did you know not all tent sites are created equal? Some tent sites may offer grassy, gravel, or paved sites, as well as other amenities like a fire ring or charcoal grill. This is key information to consider when tent camping in Pennsylvania!
Standard Tent Site (Camp Fimfo TXHC)
We've got you covered with the basics: water and electric (20-amp) hook-ups, picnic table, and a fire pit. Plus, a few bonuses like a charcoal grill and improved surface for your tent pad!
Rustic Tent
Experience a true camping experience and pitch your tent at one of our Rustic Tent sites! There is no water or electricity, but each site comes with a picnic table, fire ring, and charcoal grill.
