The New Year is here, and we’re kicking off 2025 with a bang! At Camp Fimfo Waco, we’re always working to make your stays more exciting, memorable, and fun-filled. This year is all about vacationing more, relaxing more, and adventuring more — and we’ve got plenty in store to help you do just that.

#1: Laser Tag

We’re excited to bring laser tag to Camp Fimfo Waco as one of our newest attractions, now available for the full 2025 camping season! First introduced late last year, this activity has quickly become a guest favorite, offering fast-paced excitement and friendly competition for all ages.

While we’re working on building a permanent, full-feature laser tag course, you can enjoy all the action on our temporary game field featuring obstacles and hay bales. It’s the perfect way to bond with family and friends while testing out your skills.

Here are some things you should know:

Price: $9 per person, or 3 games for $20 per person

Game Length: 15 minutes each

Sign Up: Register at the General Store

Group Size: Minimum of 2 players, maximum of 10 players per game

#2: Bosque River Docks

The Bosque River has always been a beloved feature of Camp Fimfo Waco, and now it’s better than ever! While our new dock was installed and available for most of 2024, we’re excited to reintroduce it for the 2025 season — because some of you may have missed out on this fun addition! The dock creates the perfect spot to soak in the serene scenery, cast a line for fishing, or simply unwind by the water.

Want to take your river adventure to the next level? Rent a kayak or paddleboard and discover the Bosque River from a whole new perspective. Whether you choose a tandem kayak for two, a solo kayak, or a stand-up paddleboard, you’ll love exploring the river and spotting local wildlife along the way.

#3: New Themes

2025 is shaping up to be our most exciting year yet for themed events! We’re bringing back Fimfo favorites like Keepin’ It Reel and Water Wars while introducing fresh, fun themes like Off to the Races and S’more Encounters.

Each week or weekend features:

Specialty food and drink menus to match the theme.

Unique events that bring the fun to life!
