Spring at the Silos: March 8-9, 15-16
Mark the arrival of spring at Spring at the Silos, a popular annual event held at Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Silos. Browse the wares of all kinds of artisans in the sprawling vendor fair and enjoy live music during the day, then stick around for the concerts in the evening.
Camp Fimfo Waco St. Patrick's Day Cornhole Tournament: March 17
Join us at this all-day event at Camp Fimfo Waco benefitting Waco Habitat for Humanity — live music, axe throwing, St. Patrick's Day themed food & drink specials, yard games, and of course, a single-elimination cornhole tournament!
Texas Food Truck Showdown: April 13, 2024
In 2015, the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce introduced the first state-wide food truck competition, now one of Waco’s signature events! The Texas Food Truck Showdown anticipates 40+ food trucks to be in attendance! Get your belly ready for some good eats in Downtown Waco.
Baylor University Green & Gold Weekend: April 19-21
Baylor University's Green & Gold Weekend is back! Kickoff the Baylor Bears' athletic season with fellow fans - throughout the weekend there will be numerous sporting events for the community to attend, like track & field, softball, and of course, the Green & Gold football game. This spring game, featuring a scrimmage, live music and tailgating, concludes the spring practice season and gets fans excited for Big 12 football. Admission is free!
Rootstock, Texas Wine Festival: April 20, 2024
Check out Rootstock, an annual celebration of the finest wines being grown and made in the Lone Star state. Held at Indian Spring Park in Waco, 16 of the finest Texas wineries and 6 local chefs will be featured, along with live music, lawn games and a good time!
Silo District Marathon: April 2024
Go for a new personal record and run alongside Chip Gaines when you take on the Silo District Marathon. Started in honor of Gaines’ goal to run a marathon, the event is just as much fun for runners as it is for long-distance road warriors. This is a great thing to do in Waco during your visit!

The Camp Fimfo Campout Concert Series is BACK by popular demand — April 26 & 27 🎵 Located within Camp Fimfo Waco, a camping resort offering RV sites, tent sites and cabin rentals, the Camp Fimfo Campout is a 2-day concert celebrating music, friends, family, and the Great Outside. Enjoy performances from Randy Rogers Band, Joe Nichols, David Lee Murphy, Little Texas and more! Start the weekend early and join us Thursday, April 25 for a bonus celebration with live music from local artists and food & drink specials.
Brazos Nights: May-Summer
Waco’s free concert series, Brazos Nights, has been featuring local music, world-famous bands, good food, and great times for 30 years. Each year, Brazos Nights brings more than 30,000 people to downtown Waco for free family fun and entertainment. The concert series concludes with the annual July Fourth on the Brazos extravaganza!
