The oldest continually operating dance hall in Texas, Gruene Hall is a must-stop landmark in Texas Hill Country. Located in the cozy town of Gruene, Gruene Hall has live music every day! That's right, any day you're in town, you can make a stop at Gruene Hall for some live music. Built in 1978, not much has changed from its original design, making you feel like you've stepped back in time when you walk through the doors.

Enchanted Rock
Enchanted Rock is a popular destination for Central Texas residents and visitors alike. A beautiful landmark, Enchanted Rock has enchanted people and drawn them in for hundreds of years with its nautural beauty and amazing rock formations. Visitors can admire from afar, or get up close and rock climb or backpack up it. You can also hike or stargaze atop it and take in the Hill Country views.
Jacob's Well
Texas has a number of natural swimming holes located across the state. Jacob's Well is a 140-foot deep artesian spring! Plunge into the second-largest submerged cave in Texas and feel the rush! The fresh water is cold year-round, making it the perfect place to go during the heat of a Texas summer.
Natural Bridge Caverns
The Natural Bridge Caverns are the largest known commercial caverns in Texas. Tube Down The River
There is no shortage of places to go tubing in Texas Hill Country! One of the most iconic and most popular river for tubing is the beautiful Guadalupe River. It's waters are spring-fed and cool, making it perfect for summer floating. There are many drop points along the Guadalupe River, including one in New Braunfels at Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country.
Also consider the Comal River! It's about 3 miles long and is a beauitful stretch of river with plenty of sandbars to stop at. There's a ton of shade along the Comal, giving you a break from the sunny days of a Texas summer. A fun twist to your usual floating trip is the New Braunfels Tube Chute. Rather than a typical drop-off point, you enter the Comal River through a chute that takes you for a ride on your tube and launches you out onto your river journey.

LBJ National Historic Park
The LBJ National Historic Park is a museum located on LBJ ranch, the former home of President Lyndon B. Johnson. Visit the LBJ ranch and experience a day in the life of former president, Lyndon B. Johnson. The LBJ ranch tells the story of LBJ and even has the lovingly preserved “Texas White House,” the place where he often worked from home while in office. Visitors can take guided tours of the Texas White House, his Boyhood Home, and the Junction School. This is a great thing to do in Texas Hill Country!
The park is also located in a naturally beautiful area, so make sure to wander the grounds as well as the buildings.
