#1: Outdoor Activities Pavilion + Fimfo Bandstand
We’re excited to introduce a new Outdoor Activities Pavilion, designed to bring even more fun, connection, and entertainment to our Waco, TX campground in 2026!
This versatile space will be the new home for scheduled activities and recreation, and it features a projector movie screen for outdoor movie nights. The pavilion will also serve as a new location for live entertainment, featuring our stage, Fimfo Bandstand, where guests can enjoy live music and special performances throughout the season.
Whether you’re gathering for family activities, catching a movie, or jamming out to live music, this new pavilion is set to become a favorite hangout.
#2: Camp Cruisers Mini Cars
Start your engines! One of our newest attractions, added in 2025, lets kids take the wheel with Camp Cruisers Mini Cars. Designed for younger drivers, this interactive experience is a hit with kids and parents alike.
Kids ages 4–11 can drive, with one passenger (age 4+) riding along — yes, parents are welcome too! Choose from four fun vehicles:
Firecracker – Red Jeep Wrangler
Blue Bandit – Blue Land Rover Defender
Green Machine – Green Vintage Jeep
Blizzard – White Vintage Land Rover

#3: Additional Bosque River Access
River days just got even better. Camp Fimfo Waco now offers two on-site access points to the Bosque River, located on either side of the camp-resort.
Whether you’re looking to relax by the water or get out and explore, guests can enjoy:
-Easy river access in multiple areas of the property
-Kayak and paddleboard rentals available on-site
More access means more ways to soak up the scenery, cool off, and enjoy the natural beauty that makes Waco special.
#4: Jumping Pillow Upgrade + Cover
Fun is just a hop, skip, and jump away! Our new jumping pillow, upgraded in late 2025, is an instant favorite with kids.
And coming early 2026, we’re taking it one step further and adding a new cover over the jumping pillow. This added shade helps protect jumpers from the hot Texas sun and prevents the pillow from getting too hot during peak summer days. That means more comfortable bouncing and more playtime, even when temperatures rise.
It’s still the ultimate energy-burner during the day, and parents love that it helps lead to quieter nights around the campfire. Win-win.
#5: New Bosque Cabin Locations
Our beloved Bosque Cabins have a fresh new home — now located closer to the Bosque River for an even more peaceful stay.
These cozy A-frame cabins are perfect for a getaway or staycation for two and include:
-Queen-size bed (sleeps up to 2)
-Temperature-controlled interior
-Mini fridge for snacks and drinks
-Front porch with outdoor seating
-Bathhouses and showers just a short walk away
If you’re looking for a simple, scenic escape with all the comforts you need, these cabins are a must.
#6: Squirrely’s Arcade
Need a break from the Texas heat? Head indoors to Squirrely’s Arcade, conveniently located next to Squirrely’s Tavern.
This new hangout spot adds even more all-ages fun to your stay and is perfect for:
