Stop #1: Camp Fimfo Waco

Stop #2: Magnolia Market

You've probably heard of popular TV stars, Chip & Joanna Gaines, and their show Fixer Upper on HGTV. Well, how about Magnolia Market in downtown Waco? Thousands of visitors and fans make the trek to the Silos each week to visit the numerous shops and attractions within Magnolia Market like Magnolia Table, Magnolia Press, Silos Baking Co., and much more! The iconic landmark Silos are a great photo opportunity and the area makes you feel as if you're in a cozy neighborhood.

Stop #3: Berry Springs Park & Preserve

Berry Springs Park and Preserve is located in Georgetown on 300-acres along Berry Springs between I.H. 35 and C.R. 152 with the main entrance off of C.R. 152. Berry Springs Park and Preserve is utilized for recreational uses including hiking and fishing. The park features a 2.5 mile hike/bike trail that is perfect for stopping by on a roadtrip, stretching your legs and getting some fresh air and exercise. The Inner Space Cavern and caves in Georgetown, TX

Stop #4: Inner Space Cavern

Hidden for over 10,000 years, Inner Space Cavern in Georgetown is one of the best-preserved caves in Texas. It was discovered by a Texas Highway Department core drilling team in the spring of 1963 and was opened to the public in the summer of 1966. Since that time, hundreds of thousands of visitors have seen Texas in a unique way in this beautiful cave.

The incredible cave has beautiful formations, large rooms, prehistoric animal bones, and a truly unique discovery story.  Plus, it remains a constant 72 degrees (but feels like 80 degrees with the humidity) year round. A bonus for enduring this Texas heat!

Stop #5: The Oasis on Lake Travis

With over 20,000 reviews, The Oasis on Lake Travis is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. The Lake Travis area, known as the Sunset Capital of Texas, is absolutely breathtaking. While you're here, you can go for a refreshing swim in the lake, rent a boat or jet-ski, or just walk around the lake and take in the beauty on foot. If you're just looking to pop in during your roadtrip for a bite to eat and a view, The Oasis' tiered outdoor decks are the place to be. Lunch, dinner, and drink menus are available online.

Stop #6: Mount Bonnell

Mount Bonnell, also known as Covert Park, is a prominent point alongside the Lake Austin portion of the Colorado River in Austin, Texas.  It has been a popular tourist destination since the 1850s. The mount provides a vista for viewing the city of Austin, Lake Austin, and the surrounding hills of Texas Hill Country.  A 0.5-mile loop trail, generally considered an easy route for most, takes an average of 11 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, running, and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring.

Located under an hour away from both Austin and San Antonio is Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country, a Texas-sized camping resort on the Guadalupe River.
