What are your check-in and check-out times?
Cabins: Check-in 4:00pm, Check-out 11:00am

Campsites: Check-in 3:00pm, Check-out 1:00pm
Can I come tour the park before I book?
We are more than happy to show off our campground, but please schedule a visit in advance by giving us a call or sending us an email at texashillcountry@campfimfo.com. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate tours during weekends or other high-volume times. 
Do you offer Day Camping Passes?
Yes! We offer limited day camp passes from Memorial Day through October. Passes are $46/person. Please read below for instructions on booking day passes online!
 
1. Use this booking link to be directed straight to our day pass options. 
 
2. Enter the dates (check-in date is admission date) and Guests (adjust to 1 adult or 1 child) and click magnifying glass to search.
 
3. Choose your "site" by clicking "select" in the table under the interactive map and "Add to Cart"
 
4. Click "Review Cart".
 
5. To add addtional Day Camp Passes, click "Continue Shopping" and repeat the process (filter options to "Other" to find day passes) 
 
7. Once you have added your desired number of Day Camp Passes, click "Proceed to Checkout".
What is your cancellation policy?
We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. Our refund policy varies, depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date:

Campsites:
2+ WEEKS: Refund minus $25 cancellation fee OR full refund issued in camp credit
1 WEEK: 50% of reservation issued in camp credit and 50% of reservation forfeited
LESS THAN 1 WEEK: Full reservation forfeited

Cabins:
3+ WEEKS: Refund minus $25 cancellation fee OR full refund issued in camp credit
2 WEEKs: 50% of reservation issued in camp credit and 50% of reservation forfeited
LESS THAN 2 WEEKS: Full reservation forfeited
 
The cancellation policy shall be amended in the event a natural disaster (i.e. Blizzard, Hurricane, or Tropical Storm Watch/Warning) is issued for the camp-resort area or the guest's residence within 48 hours of the reservation arrival date OR when there is a mandatory evacuation of the area and the camp-resort will be closed.
Can my friends come and visit?
Absolutely! Guests must pay a guest fee and the number of people per site cannot exceed 8.
How far in advance should I make a reservation?
We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of the desired arrival date, as our camping resort will fill up quickly! We book reservations up to 360 days in advance, so you can even re-book your stay for next year at checkout.
Will my reservation guarantee a specific campsite or cabin assignment?
We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin by paying our applicable locking fee. If you opt out of the locking fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin type, but NOT the specific site or unit number.
What is your pet policy?
RV campers are welcome to bring their pets along for the fun! Pets are not allowed at our tent campsites, playgrounds, restrooms or other buildings.

Select cabins are pet-friendly for a fee, with a 2 pet maximum. Cabin fees: 1 pet – $50, 2 pets – $75. Pet owners are required to bring crates for their pets and are responsible for pet clean-up and noise control. We reserve the right to remove hostile and disruptive pets from the park. Do you offer monthly rates?
Yes! We offer monthly from November until Memorial Day Weekend. View our monthly rates on our extended stay page.
Can I bring my own golf cart, motorized scooter, hoverboard or ATV to the campground?
For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized vehicles into the campground. Personal golf carts are only allowed if needed for ADA purposes, in which case the proper tags are required. Guests found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without refund.
Can I bring a cooler of my own alcohol to the water park?
No outside alcohol is allowed in the water park area, but you may bring coolers in as long as they don't contain alcohol or glass containers. You will be asked to leave the water park area if found in violation of this rule.
Do you have quiet hours?
We do! Quiet hours are from 11pm – 8am. Anyone under 18 years of age must be at their site or cabin during these hours, unless accompanied by an adult.
Where do I get firewood?
We have firewood available for purchase at our General Store and Welcome Center. Campers are not allowed to bring their own firewood due to state regulations to prevent the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer. To preserve the beauty of our wooded camping resort, please do not cut down or damage trees in any way.
Do you offer any discounts?
We do! We offer great savings with our special offers! You can also follow us on Facebook to stay updated on any deals and specials we are offering! We do not accept AAA, Good Sam Club, or any other discounts.

Are you an active or retired service man or woman? To thank you for your service, we offer a military discount of 10% off any weekday (Sunday-Thursday) stay with code WETHANKYOU.

  •   Excludes Holidays (Sunday and Monday of 4th of July, Columbus Day, Monday of Memorial Day and Labor Day)

Do you price match?
Nope! Camp Fimfo does not price match.
What is the speed limit?
Because the camping resort is full of active families with children, the speed limit throughout the park is 5MPH and is strongly enforced for your safety. We realize that this is slow. If you do not feel that you are driving extremely slow, then you are driving too fast.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
They are, we have drinks available at our General Store, Squirrely’s Tavern, The No Dive Bar, Squirrely's on the Rocks, and Squirrely's on the Run. This is a family-friendly resort, so please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language. No glass or outside alcohol allowed at the water park or pool.
Do you allow inflatables in the water park?
Small inflatables and toys are permitted in the pool only.
Can I smoke in the park?
Since we are a family friendly campground, smoking, including vaping, of any kind is permitted in designated smoking areas only. Smoking of any substances besides tobacco and vaporizes will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to fine violators of this policy.
Do you have river access?
Yes! Guests are welcome to use the picnic tables and grills along our shore area of the Guadalupe River. The river is not visible from campsites, unless you’re staying in the Riverview Cabins. Many guests bring their own tubes or will rent a tube at Whitewater Sports next door, and can exit right onto our property! 
Guests may walk or drive a golf cart down to the river, there is a bridge located behind the General Store. Cars can park at the General Store but may not drive down to the river, unless you’re camping at a Riverview Cabin.
Are campfires allowed?
You bet, unless when we are under a Burn Ban, so be sure to ask the Visitor Center at check-in or on the Comal County Fire Marshal's web page. We ask that campfires be confined to designated hours and are not left unattended. We do not permit outside firewood being brought into our park or the cutting of any of our trees or brush.
Are fireworks allowed?
With the exception of sparklers, fireworks are not allowed.
How late can I check-in?
Please call ahead if you'll be checking out after our Visitor Center is closed, we will put together a check-in packet for your arrival. Our current Visitor Center hours are always available to view on the Guest Dashboard.
What amenities will be available during my stay?
Please visit our Hours of Operation page to view amenity availability throughout the year.

Please note that we do our best to maintain these hours, but they are subject to change due to weather, staffing, or other unforeseen circumstances. 
When is the most cost-effective time to stay?
Our rates depend on when you’d like to stay and what amenities are available during your dates. Non-Peak season is cheaper than Peak season, and weekdays are cheaper than weekends. Peak Season is May 24 - August 18. However, please be sure to check amenity availability before booking. Make sure to check out our Offers before booking your stay! 
Is WiFi available?
Yes, WiFi is available. Please note depending on the amount of campers in the park and the amount of guests using at the same time, speeds may vary and WiFi may not be accessible.
Is there good fishing?
We have great fishing, particularly fly fishing, available onsite along the Guadalupe River. We recommend getting an early start, as the area is also a popular river tubing destination! Anyone over the age of 16 needs a fishing license. 
What is your firearms policy?
Guests must obey all federal, state, and local laws regarding the ownership and possession of firearms. Firearms are not permitted in any property buildings or common areas. The only exception is that guests may have a firearm in a locked, private vehicle in parking areas if permitted by law. The discharge of firearms, BB guns, air guns/rifles, or similar devices is strictly prohibited.
This is my first time visiting Camp Fimfo. Is there anything I should know?
We are so excited to have you stay with us! There are a few optional items you can bring along to maximize the fun during your trip. You are welcome to bring bicycles to help you get around the park. We also suggest bringing fishing poles for some quality family fishing, or a tube to float down the Guadalupe River (you can exit right on our property!) And keep in mind that while we do offer plenty of activities here at the park, there are many local attractions that your family may enjoy as well, such as the Gruene Historic District and Whitewater Amphitheater! Do you offer any group lodging?
Yes! Our resort is over 450 acres, with tons of RV sites and cabins, making us a great option for groups! If you're interested in booking a group reservation (5 or more cabins), get started by using our Group Reservation Form

Do you offer any cabins for large groups?
Yes! We have plenty of cabins for large groups in Texas Hill Country! With our group cabin options, we can accomodate groups of up to 12 guests! Cabins such as our Hilltop Coyote Cabins (sleeps 12) and our Willow and Cypress cabins (sleeps 8) are a great option. More information on these rentals can be found here.
Can I come enjoy the park's amenities before/after check-in/check-out?
If you'd like to get early resort access before you check-in or extended access after check-out, please call for availability. There is a $25 fee for early/extended access. Please note that early resort access does not mean early cabin or site access.
