The Cliff Carver is a gravity-propelled sled that includes manual brakes, so riders can control their speed down the track. The track bobs and weaves for nearly 1 mile down the hill, offering stunning views of Texas Hill Country along the way. Zoom down the mountain at speeds up to 25mph, or opt for a leisurely ride to take in the scenery - the choice is yours!

Requirements
  • Signed waiver required
  • Parent or legal guardian must sign for riders under age 18
  • Maximum of 2 riders per sled
  • Must be 9 years or older and a minimum of 54" tall to drive or ride alone
  • Must be 3 years or older and a minimum of 38" to ride
  • Total weight of sled occupants must not exceed 375 lbs during dry conditions, or 330 lbs during wet conditions

FAQ
Do I have to wait in line if I reserve ahead of time?
Yes. Your reservation is for a time slot, not a guaranteed start time. All riders must wait in line.
What are the age and height requirements to drive a sled on the Cliff Carver?
Drivers must be 9 years or older and a minimum of 54" tall to drive or ride alone. Drivers must be 16 years or older to drive with an accompanying passenger.
What are the age and height requirements to be a rider on the Cliff Carver?
Riders must be at 3 years or older and a minimum of 38" to ride. Riders must be accompanied by a driver of 16 years or older.
How many riders are allowed on one sled?
There is a maximum of 2 riders per sled.

Are there weight restrictions to ride the Cliff Carver?
The total weight of the sled occupants must not exceed 375 lbs during dry conditions, or 330 lbs during wet conditions.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be requested via email to info@fimfoadventures.com within 48 hours of the card charge to receive a full refund. Cancellation requests outside of this 48-hour window will result in a full forfeiture of funds.
Should I book online ahead of time or can I book when I arrive?
We highly recommend booking online ahead of time, whether you're camping with us or coming just for the coaster! We cannot guarantee availability for the time you want if you don't book ahead online. We can and do sell out for certain time slots!
Do I need to be a Camp Fimfo guest to ride The Cliff Carver?
Fimfo Adventures and The Cliff Carver are open to the public. Although located within Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country, adventurers do not need to be a guest of Camp Fimfo to book an adventure experience.
Do I have access to other Camp Fimfo amenities while I'm on-site for The Cliff Carver?
The Cliff Carver is open to the public, however unless you are a Camp Fimfo guest or have purchased a Day Camp Pass, you do not have access to amenities while on-site for The Cliff Carver.
